Jailton was doing a lot of wrestling but that is why he lost  Volkov is way more dangerous both on the feet and his back.
Spamming takedowns that you can't keep or even laying should never be you gameplan it's not 1999 anymore.
There was zero ragdolling lmao.

Spamming takedowns that you can't keep should not be your gameplan in this era of MMA you say ?

Let's just remember that there is a midget Georgian currently in the UFC that only goes with that gameplan in the hardest division in the sport and he will probably fight for the title next.

Tuff fight for Jailton. This will fully decide if he should leave heavyweight and go back down a division.

Might take Volkov because I think Jaltan style is to honest, he don’t strike at all which make it more easier to counter and or defend because you know what he’s doing, a major reason Blaydes caught him coming in,

But I was also super impressed with round 1 against Blaydes, 9 takedown against the guy with the division takedown record is promising so who knows

Jailton needs to mix up his offense. That dumbass is just shooting for the legs blindly without any set up. He should also learn judo throws, inside trips from the clinch etc.

It's so hard to take Dolidze seriously after his last fight. He looked like he didn't even belong in there.

302 Title Fight

Predictions: 11 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 665 Points   |   Tied for 1338th

If Leon gets the call to fight for 302 who’s he gonna fight? Belal deserves the shot but many don’t like him and I’m not sure if he’ll be a huge draw. Islam will be a great draw for a super fight but a problem always seems to appear when Islam’s mentioned. I also personally don’t think Islam should move up yet but that’s just me. Khamzat is an interesting pairing with Leon, The striking grappling. But does he deserve the title shot? Yes Kamaru is good but that’s a middleweight Kamaru. He beat Kevin Holland but was overweight and etc. But I guess there is always some argument to make against title challengers.

@QMor29

Has to be Belal in my opinion. There are too many possible title contenders at 55 right now in Gaethje/Max winner, Charles/Arman winner, Poirier that need to play out and Khamzat at 70 really makes no sense either it seems 85 will be the long term move for him. The real issue is the ufc making Gaethje Holloway, even though it’s a fight fan’s dream it makes zero sense. Gaethje should be fighting Islam on this card and Max should be fighting Topuria while Volk recovers. Instead it seems Poirier will be the likely option here because of timeline unless something spectacular happens in the Gaethje/Max and Charles/Arman fights that leapfrogs everything

Anthony Hernandez has been one of my favorite middleweight prospects for a few years now already and I‘m really looking forward to see how he‘s gonna do in the top 10. Fluffy coming off a finish against another good prospect and Dolidze not having been looking good against Imavov makes me believe Hernandez is gonna pull this one off as well. Probably his hardest test so far though.

Yeah, but Jailton doesn't have the same gas tank Merab has. Plus Almeida seems to be afraid to strike against the big boys (he probably has the technique, but you gotta have a backup plan when the main one doesn't work).

Almeida should go to light heavy tbh. The only fighters there that have some wrestling in their back pockets are Ankalaev, Rakic, and Krylov.

Anthony Hernandez vs Roman Dolidze is a potential fight of the night in the making, "Fluffy" is getting better and better each time he performs, hope he becomes a contender in the near future.
And I'm looking foward to watch that Bassil vs Gall fight, Bassil was really tough on that Della Maddalena fight, and he taked that fight on short notice.

Except for Robertson, feels like submission there.
